Specialized in creating visually beautiful products as a brand designer, my interests have expanded into marketing strategy and design thinking, resolving problems and closing the gap between the user needs and business goals. To strengthen my design thinking skills, I took up an upskilling course under the SGUnited Skills program and have gained much knowledge and skills during my 9 months course as an Associate UX/UI Designer. I have done multiple case studies and have covered the entire user-centred Design lifecycle - from strategic positioning and research to designing the interaction for products and services.
Apart from being a designer for most of my work life, there’s another side of me... I am a a INTJ (if that metters). According to my StandOut findings, my 2 top strength roles are Advisor and Pioneer. I'm at my best when pulling apart complex problems and figuring out what's going on. My appetite for the unknown drives me forward to pique my curiosity and in learning new things and skills.
I'm an award-winning illustrator and designer. Having obtained my Masters Degree in Illustration from Edinburgh College of Art in 2005. I am adept at different illustration styles. My artwork has appeared in major publications in Singapore, UK, Japan, China, Australia and New Zealand.
